The Mid-Atlantic IBM Information Management technical support team has announced the date and location of the first Washington Area DB2 Users Group. This group is being coordinated by IBM’s Warren Heising and Prem Rangwani to provide education and networking to local Information Management users. The first quarterly meeting of the Washington, D.C. area DB2 users group will be held on June 15th at the IBM offices in McLean, VA. This users group is focusing on the needs of the Linux, Unix and Windows DB2 users in the MD, DC and VA area. We will be covering topics that are key to our users on distributed DB2, tools, related products and services. At the end of each meeting we will survey the users for what topics they are interested in for the next meeting and arrange for speakers.
