Just announced – The Fillmore Group will host four Optim sessions with the IBM team, featuring Paul Westfall, on Thursday, January 7th, from 9am – 3:30. If you are “local” and interested in learning more about Optim (regardless of your database of choice), I hope you will join us. More info below:
Enterprise applications and databases don’t just help run your business – they ARE your business. And every year, they grow in size and complexity – making them harder and more complicated to manage.
IBM® Optim™ gives you the power to manage enterprise application data through every stage of its lifecycle – regardless of the relational database your organization uses. These sessions will introduce the Optim products that can enable you to meet your service level agreements, decrease maintenance costs and protect data privacy and security, reducing your legal liability exposure, whether you use Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, DB2 – any or all!
Join us for four sessions introducing IBM’s strategic approach to database administration and the cross-database tools that will enable database managers and administrators to use a consistent set of tools to enhance database performance and data lifecycle management.
The agenda for the day includes an overview of IBM’s strategy, and a deeper technical dive into managing data growth using the Optim Archiving solution, using data masking for data privacy, and Data Discovery, IBM’s newest addition to the Optim family that enables rapid analysis of existing databases and applications. Hands-on labs will be available and Optim experts from IBM will be on hand to present and answer questions. Lunch will be provided.
I hope you will join us. Please RSVP if you plan to attend with an email to Donna Dordai, donna.dordai@thefillmoregroup.com.
